La Rochelle House, summer swimming pool, quiet residential area near downtown

We loved the property, tastefully modernised by the owner, with some beautiful touches. This is a real home filled with beautiful furniture and art. We have never felt so relaxed away from home before. We really hope to come back next year.

Excellent holiday home with everything you could need. We had a great time every day in the heated pool. Bakery, patisserie and supermarket within walking distance. Enjoyed boat trips, beaches and town activities.

Our family of 4 had a very enjoyable stay in La Rochelle! Eleanore’s home is spacious, stylishly decorated and comfortable. We all slept well! The garden with pool was a real bonus and we spent a lot of time playing cards on the decking - the optional canopy cover here was really useful. Large kitchen had almost everything we needed (wonderful fridge!). Air con in two of the bedrooms was a real plus. A pleasant 20 min walk into the centre of town. Some might mind this but we didn’t and in fact all really enjoyed the walk back especially after a dinner out. A good boulangerie a couple of mins walk away. Communication was good. Thank you!

Kids loved the pool! Very spacious and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

We were given a warm welcome by Eleonore the owner and the house is fabulous with all you could want and more . It is a 15/20 min walk to the centre with a lovely patisserie and a Hypermarket very close by . Lots to see and do in the area and would highly recommend this as a destination and property . Hope to come back soon .
