La Romance

😊: A very pleasant surprise. Looks a little ordinary from the outside, but has been tastefully decorated in a country cottage style. Very spacious unit with lots of nice touches. Peaceful setting. Made for a good nights sleep! 3 minute drive to very good supermarket.. 😢: Not much to discuss here. No shower curtain so bathroom floor got pretty wet, but we understand the limited space where the shower is situated..

😊: Good value for money, well equipped kitchen, quiet at night as at the end of the garden,so private outside decking. Good bar across the road and parking outside.. 😢: Location to town was probably about 30 min walk.shwer could do with having a curtain as floor got a bit wet, but was plenty of hot water.

😊: We really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property. The Easter decorations were a lovely touch and made the stay feel extra special. The place was very clean, smelled great on arrival and had a really cosy atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. We also liked the contactless check-in with the key box and code, which made things easy as our arrival was later than expected. We think it would be a fun experience to rent both little houses on the property with friends and enjoy the outdoor space together on summer evenings. The location was perfect in a quiet village, ideally situated between the Ardennes and the Champagne region. It’s also very close to Rethel, which has everything you might need, from boulangeries and restaurants to supermarkets and petrol stations.. 😢: Nothing particularly, everything as described..
