😊: We loved our stay is this stunning apartment in the heart of beautiful Sarlat. The outlook is truly spectacular, the apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated with lovely furniture and lots of interesting artwork We slept well in very comfortable beds with great pillows and while the location is perfect, close to the public carpark, with restaurants on your doorstep, it's also very peaceful. Our wonderful hosts provided such good advice for what to see and do in this interesting area, and we enjoyed every moment over four incredible days.. 😢: We were really sad to leave, and will certainly be back one day.

😊: Such character and comfort ! Every detail taken care of. Beautifully furnished. Clear instructions for arrival and departure. Although it’s right in the centre of town still perfectly quiet with superb rooftop views. Top quality bedding..

😊: We spent a wonderful time in Perigord and experienced a lot of wonderful moments. Sometimes we were looking for some more calm places since the whole city and the region were very busy these days 😉 I worked from Sarlat and had a fancy desk in my room, WiFi was perfect to connect with our company network. While it was very hot during our stay (39 degree Celsius) the apartment remained at medium temperatures. The famous 47 Steps up to the Apartment were a good daily training. The Hosts were very welcoming and took great care of us. Thank you both. The Kitchen is well equipped however we didn‘t use it too much since the French restaurants around were all so inspirational so we had mainly dinner in town. All in all, we had a wonderful time in this exciting Region of France and will certainly come back. Thanks to our 2 hosts who made our stay a great memory. All the best, Barbara. 😢: During our stay it was really so busy that it was sometimes hard to find a parking space. So we had a decent number of steps on our step counter App. 😆.

😊: This property is an exceptional find right in the centre of Sarlat, just up a short hill from the main square. It's quiet, spacious and perfectly presented, with quirky and interesting decoration. Big windows overlooking the rooftops. After we had made a mistake with the address (put 'Salamandre Sarlat' into Google Maps and you get directed somewhere else entirely) the hosts were very patient explaining where the property actually is! The building itself is ancient, and there's a long stone spiral staircase to climb which would make it difficult to access for anyone with mobility problems. It's absolutely brilliant though.. 😢: Parking in the centre of Sarlat is always a problem, and can be expensive. The hosts directed us to the car park at Pl. Salvador Allende, but throughout our stay were were able to find free parking bays just up the hill from there in All. du Majoral Jean Monestier. It's just outside the public park. but be prepared to wheel your cases up and down and over some cobbles to get to the property..

😊: Everything !!!the apt is charming ! beutiful with attantion to every detail. Very clean, fully equipped and spotless! The location is the best one can hope for , just above the town's piazza. Yet, very quite. The view the apt's window is of medieval roof tops and bell towers. Very close parking with reasonble prices. Even climing the spiral stony stairwell to the apt was an experience. Just loved it!.
