La Talmondaise, Maison chaleureuse pour vos vacances !

What a wonderfully charming character property with everything you need for a comfortable and peaceful stay. We enjoyed a lovely family stay here with my 2 toddlers and husband. The garden provided a little outside space for some fresh air and al fresco dining and the location was perfect for heading out into the village for dinner in the evening.

The owner Brigitte is wonderful and very helpful. The property is clean, charming and full of lovely character features. As a character property it also stays cool through the hot Vendee days! The town is a mix of modern and character properties based around the nearby castle, Chateau Talmont. There is a lovely local lake and play area near good bars and a great pizza restaurant. It was our first visit to the area and we spent time at the Plage du Veillon and a trip to both La Rochelle (lovely but busy) and Puy de Fou (amazing and not too busy at all for peak season.) All in all a great holiday.

Dear Brigitte, Description of property was correct, instructions received more than adequate, would certainly recommend to friends, as expected the area made for excellent cycling country. We found the property suited our needs and enjoyed its quirky and creative features.
