La Terrasse Ouest

😊: it was overall a spacious flat. Saved parking space was always available for use. Bathroom was modern, the shower was good as long as you didn't turn it on all the way or it would flood the bathroom as it was one of those trendy non surround trays. Plenty of hot water. Spacious terrace but...... 😢: Trying to find the flat took a bit of time. You had to go round the back garden of the ground floor to find the steps up to it. The owner did send photos after I phoned. The decking on the terrace was going rotten as were the the coffee table and easy chairs so it looked rather shabby. There was a washing machine, however, it was in a small room and had stuff piled around it, on it and as far as I could see, in it so it couldn't be used. Not good when you are travelling with only cabin baggage! The cleaning was rather hit and miss, the toilet wasn't completely clean under the water line, the skirting had not been dusted for a while. There was dust at the back of the bathroom basin but the rest of it was clean. The kettle seemed to have been in the process of being descaled but there was still descaler in it so had to be filled and boiled a couple of times before use. Dishwasher worked but we had to clean it first as the filter had not been cleaned for ever. On a busy road so a lot of traffic noise. If it had had more attention to detail this could have been a really nice place and worth the money. but sadly not..

😊: Place was ok , clean flat. 😢: Location was not clear, difficult to find as flat that was accessed from rear off property, a sign or place name would help, getting hold of property owner via text slow but eventually got info, you find flat up flight of stairs to rest of Asian restaurant and key box by parasol..
