😊: The worst hosts on Booking.com, providing 2 towels for 5 days & then charging you 50€ when the towels get dirty! The place was generally mediocre, but after 20 days, we received a 50€ charge for "dirty towels" - because the towel had a smudge on it - what a surprise, that a towel might get dirty after 5 days of stay! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Avoid this place and hosts if you can & don't put down your deposit! & somebody please go and teach them how to do laundry!. 😢: UPDATE: After 20 days, we were charged 50€ from our security deposit, reason being "damaged bed linen & dirty towels" - I sincerely hope this is a bad joke. We folded the bed linen & of course towels are "dirty" after 5 days. DON'T BOOK & DON'T PUT DOWN YOUR DEPOSIT! I believe the 50€ charge is a revenge for our initial review here: Our flights were cancelled / rebooked due to the Lufthansa strike and the initial information showed 20€ payment for a later arrival. However, our new flight arrived 22:55 and after 23:00 it is not possible to enter the property. The concierge asked for 50€ instead for this late key pickup, which I find totally unfriendly and ridiculous - the alternative was to wait until the next day until 12:00 - so therefore the approach was "either pay 50€ or stay stranded in Marseille". Sidenote: I would have happily paid the 20€ for the late check-in. But not 50€ for 5 minutes of someone's time. Felt like a scam and affected the stay negatively for us from the beginning. Thankfully, we had a friend in Marseille who was able to pick up the keys for us. Be very aware of when you arrive to this property - as any unexpected changes might lead you to paying extra, or being stranded, as the owners showed no signs of understanding our situation. On top of that, there is no wifi at the appartment. In 2026, honestly you don't even check this information... As we were there for a work trip, it came as a great surprise. I agree that this was my mistake and I should have double-checked before. Without wifi we wouldn't have booked it, but seriously - it's 21st century and having a wifi in your establishment costs 15e / month. I would expect it automatically, at this price point. Also, the router was actually there, so it is obviously just a matter of paying a bill... A bonus feedback: you only get 2 small towels for a stay of 5 days, and the kitchen has no kitchen cloth..

😊: A very nice, modern, and spacious apartment with a lovely terrace.. 😢: A rather unsafe and very neglected neighborhood, with people bothering foreigners. Trash scattered around the streets and an unpleasant smell. Public transport to the city center is average. Not a very pleasant interaction with the concierge during check-in. Although we originally planned to arrive around 3 PM, our bus was delayed, which was not met with understanding. At 1:30 PM, I informed them via Booking about our later arrival, but the concierge lady, with clear dissatisfaction, stated that she should only be contacted through her WhatsApp, and that changes to arrival times must be reported 24 hours in advance — which seems unrealistic, given the unforeseen situations that can happen while traveling. The dishes in the apartment were dirty and had to be washed before use. The mirrors, windows, and floors were also quite dirty. It would have been nice if the apartment provided more basic supplies. Just one bar of soap for two bathrooms, no dishcloth or dish soap, and only three portions of coffee for two people for the entire stay is rather insufficient..
