😊: It is just amazing - to have a castle with a real fireplace all to yourselves! It's a real old castle, with a vast territory, a pond, with a lot of authentic things inside and a well made renovation. We really enjoyed our stay and liked everything, the well equipped kitchen, the old staircase, the portrait and other pictures on the wall, chocolate candies prepared specially for us by the hostess. As we stayed there at the beginning of January, we used the heating, it is enough for the apartment. We also visited several places, highly recommend Salines, Besancon, Dole and Waterfalls near Arbois.. 😢: Just to mention the fact that without a car it could be difficult as the castle is situated in a remote village and the neatest supermarket is 5 km..

😊: Location was wonderful. Apartment in huge historic country house (chateau). Owner was charming despite no English. Large living room/kitchen, large double bedroom, bathroom/shower room, small second bedroom with narrow single bed. Large grounds.. 😢: Nothing.

😊: Great location for touring the Jura region in charming old building. Adequate and secure parking. Host very response to requests.. 😢: The hosts might consider putting the address somewhere on the building so that people can find it. Guests should be aware that the second bedroom is behind the first bedroom so that anyone in the second bedroom has to walk through the first bedroom to reach the bathroom..
