La Tourette

Un gîte formidable! Un lieu exceptionnel, un cadre magnifique. Cette petite tour médiévale au milieu de nulle part nous a complètement séduits ! Le calme, la tranquillité et la qualité de la literie nous ont permis de nous reposer comme jamais. L'accès à la piscine du propriétaire est vraiment sympa. Une très belle ballade en boucle au départ du gîte pour découvrir les magnifiques alentours. Seul tout petit bémol, les casseroles en tefal griffées ne donnent pas envie et il manque un mixer plongeur pour la soupe… mais le propriétaire nous a dit qu'il allait remplacer les casseroles et peut être achètera t il un mixer… donc, tout va bien. On a adoré notre séjour. On reviendra!

Charmant et paisible Un lieu charmant, paisible et atypique. Une action est nécessaire au rdc pour résoudre le problème d'humidité et faire disparaître mousse et salpêtre. Cela mis à part nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette Tourette vraiment charmante et avons eu des échanges très agréable avec les propriétaires. Nous pourrions y revenir avec plaisir. Amoureux de veilles pierres, d'authenticité, de calme et de nature réservez sans hésiter.

Quiet and lovely location This lovely tower is an ideal location for people who love the silence and like a special residence. We stayed there while it was freezing cold, and it was difficult to heat the kitchen. We would advice to install a curtain at the entrance to keep the cold outside the kitchen, and an additional heating would also be helpful. The fireplace was an added value in the living room, it was very cosy. It is also special to wakeup in a bedroom (which was warm) with an impressive ceiling. Since we had very nice weather, we enjoyed the walks we could make in the environment. We would advice to mention in the description of the gite that there's also kettle, a coffee machine, a nespresso machine and a toaster available. We enjoyed our stay, and we can imagine that in summertime, this must be an even more pleasant environment to stay.

live like a prince and princess A very nice spot with a lot of privacy in the countryside. The dog was welcome and was not afraid of the spiral staircase. We could sit and read comfortably both outside and inside. The kitchen is dark, but we didn't spend much time there. We saw many villages and visited some of the many castles. The owner is friendly and if we want to visit this region again, we will definitely try to book here.

Historischer Turm in schöner Landschaft Das Ferienhaus besteht aus einem spätmittelalterlichen Wehrturm, der einstmals das inzwischen nur noch als Ruine existierende benachbarte Schloss bewachte, und liegt nun einsam am Waldrand zwischen den Feldern. Es ist stilvoll zu einem modernen Ferienhaus umgebaut worden, besitzt einen gemütlich eingerichteten Salon, ein großes Schlafzimmer sowie Küche und Bad. Gute Ausstattung (Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, gute Verdunklungsmöglichkeiten, ...), großes Grundstück mit schönen alten Bäumen, darunter ein Riesen-Mammutbaum, Sitzgelegenheiten im Schatten oder in der Sonne; sehr ruhig gelegen, keine direkten Nachbarn, hübscher Wald gleich nebenan, viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge (mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen u. a.: Tours, Chinon, Loches, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry); in Saint-Épain gibt es einen Bäcker, einen Fleischer, ein Lebensmittelgeschäft, eine Bar und ein Restaurant; auch für Fahrrad-Fahrer geeignet. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, auch nette Nachbarn. Hier werde ich bestimmt bald einmal wieder meine Ferien verbringen!

Back in time with modern comfort Nice old tower formally being part of the Château de Montgoger. Very nice setting and a lot of privacy. The gite is nice with a bedroom under the roof with beautiful wooden beams. Below the living and on ground level the kitchen that could do with a little refurbishment yet everything you need is present. Small old staircase with one toilet on the upper floor so be aware if you have difficilty in climbing stairs. We enjoyed it a lot and can recommend this place. Nice and friendly owner.

Agréable séjour Ancienne conciergerie superbement rénovée. Très bien équipée, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Très bonne literie, emplacement agréable et calme. Propriétaire qui se montre disponible et à l'écoute. Petite Tourette dans le thème des visites des châteaux !
