😊: We spent a lovely week at Margaux and Alléric's gite. The two apartments, originally a 16th century sheepfold, have been beautifully restored, to include original features such as exposed stone walls and ancient wooden ceiling beams, mixed with ultra modern, quality kitchen and bathroom appliances and decor. Everything is in excellent taste and functions perfectly. The bigger apartment has an annex with jacuzzi, and a large patio with outdoor furniture, facing a large green field. The discrete hosts are young, passionate about the area, and full of excellent suggestions for sights and eating places. There’s even a playful dog, chickens and fluffy cats if you like animals! The apartments are small but well set out so we didn’t have any problems with a week’s stay. Just bring mosquito repellent as the mozzies love guests. This is a great gite in a lovely yet little known area for Australians. We thoroughly recommend this to everyone and thank Margaux and Alléric for their hospitality and welcome.. 😢: Everything was excellent.
