😊: Perfect location had wedding reception close by. Lovely outside area. Inside was well designed.. 😢: Nothing.

😊: The location was perfect for our needs, a quiet (ish) location and close enough to Ruffec. The property had everything internally that you would want whilst away including garden furniture, washing machine and cooking facilities.. 😢: Neighbours constantly at work with machinery of some sort and when our owners went away, we had empty bottles being thrown over the fence by the children from next door along with money and sticky sweets being thrown into the swimming pool. The pool, whilst noted as private was used by the owners children whilst they were there, albeit a very short time and so was not really an issue but if they were at home I wonder whether it would become more frequent. On our first day the pool was crystal clear and this stayed like it for a couple of days but soon lost its sparkle and became cloudier by the day, with leaves from the neighbours tree falling as soon as it was cleared (whilst it was acknowledged this cannot be helped, the cleaning of the pool made little difference). The bed was small and the sofa not really comfy. The property is set up ideally for 2 people internally although garden furniture accommodates 6 people and there is enough cutlery/crockery for the latter. Our personal view is that the gite is in very close proximity to owner accommodation and felt like a summer house in their back garden. They hung their washing outside their back door, cooking food also outside the door, all in very close distance/view to our garden perimeter. Whilst there is a tv there are no English channels and that’s fine for us as we were not overly concerned by having a tv. The Wi-Fi was patchy in places..
