Large and luxurious family property.

The house is beautiful and spacious, with plenty of room for large groups, and the outdoor areas and swimming pool allow for great relaxing and fun moments for adults and children. Furniture and decoration are rustic and fairly run down, and the house is supplied with very basic and old appliances, cheap and overused dishware/glassware. The mattresses were all uncomfortable, with smelly bedsheets and pillows. It would not take much to upgrade the furnishings to make the house more enjoyable and turnkey.We also had a disastrous check-in experience. The concierge, who was apparently not the usual staff handling that, was very unprofessional, appallingly rude and unwelcoming, and the house was not clean in time for us. We had to make our own beds and clean extensively ourselves before we could settle in. Thankfully the owner, who is very kind and responsive, was very apologetic and went out of his way to make up for the bad experience. He covered additional cleaning services, but it took about 3 days of the cleaning lady visiting the house before it was up to the level it should have been at check in, which was inconvenient for a 7-day stay.Overall a great vacation home but overpriced with respect to the level of comfort offered.

It was superb! We spent many days around the swimming pool! We spent a day on the coast (Antibes), we spent a morning at Accrobranche Riviera, we spent a morning at Fragonard and made perfume, we spent a morning/afternoon at the 'Village des Foux', and we had evening at a restaurant 'Amandier' in Mougins - it was super! The WiFi is excellent, and the concierge (Dominique) was superb (babysitting as well); there was enough space to stay separate and enough spaces to sit all the family! Quite honestly, it was excellent! Ignace was a very good host. He owns the property, and he's very friendly and communicative.

I cannot recommend this villa high enough.The pre-holiday service is fantastic, querries were answered incredibly quick.The concierge on arrival and during our stay was really helpful.The villa is beautiful!! It has everything you need and more, several sitting / dining areas, lovely large garden, the pool is a good size and very well maintained.Location is perfect for exploring the Cote D'Azur.I could go on and on but you should try for yourself.

A great large house perfect for a family gathering covering all age ranges. Enough room for everyone to have their own space but also great communal areas and a lovely large garden for the young ones to run around and play in. The pool is a great size and of course a great focal point The local team sorting out check in etc were very pleasant and helpful

We had a great stay; four families (8 adults and 4 children) and didn’t feel we were lacking anything to make our visit comfortable. The pool and garden area is just beautiful with really nice views of the mountains and surrounding villages. We originally wanted to rent something closer to the sea but in hindsight this was perfect for us - so many nice places to visit near-by and even if the road is close to the house, we were not disturbed - it’s just a really relaxing place to be. The house is well equipped and has great common areas for big groups like ours. Jill, Andrew and Emma were quick to respond to any on-site requests (thank you!) and we also had some really good catering (by Isabel and Lori) as recommended by Jill - great, well-prepared, food and service! If iI were to be a bit picky, there are bits of the house that could use some work, a bit of an update to the bathrooms, for example, but I also found most of it quite charming and adding to character of the house - everything’s functioning well, so it doesn’t take anything away from the comfort. All-in-all; would go back anytime (as would the rest of the family)!

Overall our family enjoyed our visit. With 8 grandchildren the pool was especially welcome. Plenty of space for our family of 16 and the outside dinning area was well used.. The suite did not have air conditioning and with the unusually high temperatures this was a downside. Also the turning on the outside lights caused a short circuit that needs to be repaired. Overall I would recommend the Villa for large families who want a quiet, well located villa for a visit the Nice area.

We stayed at the villa with friends and had an amazing time! We found it very spacious and comfortable. It was well equipped, clean and the gardens are beautiful. We loved lounging around the pool and enjoying al fresco dining on the lovely terrace! The local village has all the necessary shops and some very good restaurants. The villa is also very well located for Nice, Cannes and Monaco. I would definitely recommend this for couples and families.

Have to say it was pretty hard to find well priced accommodation for 3 families plus one Grandma in the Grasse Area in June but we hit gold with this gorgeous property. Thoughtful layout meant all families could have their own space with aesthetic, comfortable communal areas on offer too. The magnificent pool was the central hub, accommodating all of us comfortably. Close to Grasse and well placed for trips to the Cote d'azur was appealing and Valbonne itself was an unexpected treat. Would highly recommend this property.
