Large family home - Omaha Beach

We visited for D-Day 2025. Listing was accurate. This is an old stone / brick house near Omaha beach, making it a rustic experience. Kitchen has some basic meal prep ingredients like spices, etc. Bathrooms were good and functional. No restaurants in the small town it is located, but towns close by have them as well as grocery stores. Communication and check-in were efficient. Good local recommendations for activities and food from our host. Very good value for the price.

Short stay to visit the WW2 beaches and museums. The house is perfectly sited for WW2 beach visits; it is charming and well equipped.

Peaceful home with great history very close to what is to be seen near Omaha Beach. Quaint little town with narrow roads but busses navigated the main road fine. We had a van and could enter the property without trouble. Only downside was not having more time to visit the area.

Lovely stay, great house...we will be back

Dispite the cold spring, we have had some wonderful days in Aure sur Mer. The house is spacious and conveniently divided in two sections each with a bathroom, making it a perfect house for my family and grandparents. The house is well equipped, and great location.

La propriété est très agréable, la maison très confortable et propre qui allie l’ancien et le moderne. Tout y est pour passer un très bon moment (grand jardin clos, table de ping-pong, barbecue. chiliennes, poêle à bois…).

Une très belle propriété et une maison charmante. Tout est neuf et très bien équipé. Propre également. Merci ! Le système de chauffage électrique n'est pas très simple d'usage et mériterait sans doute une notice explicative (au risque de faire sauter les plombs !) L'accueil via la conciergerie s'est bien passé malgré un petit retard. Le portail d'entrée dans la propriété s'est affaissé pendant notre séjour. J'imagine sans peine qu'il a été réparé. Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir !
