Large mountain hut in the middle of nature, panoramic view, near COLMAR

Very comfortable stay in a stunning location. First class roomy accommodation and very well equipped. If we might suggest one or two improvements: The lighting in the dining/lounge area is too dim - could not see to read. Perhaps a free-standing uplighter would help? Could not find any instructions for how to operate things such as the cooker/washing machine/television. In fact we could not make the television work for the whole week. An electric shaver point in the ground floor bathroom would be welcome. Otherwise no complaints, and we particularly enjoyed tours of the route des cretes and the route des vins. Riquewihr was a particular highlight. Overall, many thanks for a most enjoyable stay.

Loved the location; loved the garden and loved the property. The only negative is the size of the double bedroom i.e. very small and the size and quality of the double bed. The bed is a small double and it creaked whenever one of us moved! The style of the chalet is traditional and there are great views from the veranda and pretty garden. The location was great in so far as the chalet is close to the Vosges mountains but also only 30/40 minutes drive away from Colmar and the wine growing area. We had a dog with us and he really enjoyed the garden and the local walks. We really enjoyed our stay in Alsace. It's a beautiful area and if you enjoy wine and walking its a perfect place for a holiday!

Very clean, quiet and comfortable chalet. The hosts welcome us with a bottle of sparkling wine and warm heart and throughout our stay we could ask them for anything whenever we needed something. The yard is nice and green, with a lot of flowers, we made use of the BBQ. The view from the balcony is amazing. We definitely recommend this chalet to the travelers with children or couples.
