We had a wonderful stay in the chalet. It was clean and perfectly suited for eight people. There's also a locker with heating for ski boots. La Plagne is easily accessible by bus, and it's also possible to ski directly to the slopes towards La Roche from the chalet access road.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this chalet over Christmas and New Year! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, and the chalet itself exceeded all expectations—spotlessly clean, warm, and wonderfully comfortable. Perfect for six adults, it was fully equipped for cozy dinners in after long ski days. Despite having just one toilet, it never caused any issues, and we always had plenty of hot water for showers.The little extras made it even better: a warm, easily accessible boot room and a great selection of DVDs and games (not even mentioned in the listing!). The host’s local agent checked in on Christmas Eve, which was such a thoughtful touch.The only minor downside was the lack of parking and the icy walk from the bus stop, which might be tricky for beginners or families with young kids. For us, it was no problem—the bus stop at the bottom of Crete Cote was super convenient. Our older kids hired skis at Sport 2000 Plagne 1800 and rented a locker near the lift, making mornings and evenings stress-free. They even made a ritual of warming up by the fire at La Mine Bar for a quick drink before heading back for a cozy night in!With buses running so frequently, we won’t bother hiring a car next time. It was not possible to access the hilly driveway up to the apartment as it was covered in black ice/snow. We arrived late (in the dark) due to long delays and had to leave our car at the bottom of the driveway and carry all our luggage/food up to the apartment which after travelling for 16 hrs wasn't great. The next morning we put on snow chains but there was still an issue trying to find a parking space for our car. The apartment wasn't very clean. Some dirty cutlery, filter with used coffee left in the coffee machine. Beds were not made and we had to wait until the next morning for towels. The oven needed cleaning out. There were plenty of pots and pans etc.... good fridge/freezer. Heating was great, very hot. Showers great. Would we return, no we would go for accommodation in either 1800 or 2000 where there is easy access to slopes (no bus rides), shops, restaurants etc.......On the day we were leaving the gritter arrived to grit the driveway up to the apartments so this may not be an issue for others. An average stay but great skiing and wonderful conditions.

Only had issues opening the door with a wrong code given by the owner for the lock. Besides that it is a good house. Getting to the ski area is by bus which only goes 1 time per hour, so don't miss it.. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Chalet felt spacious even though there were two families, great to have separate bedrooms. A separate toilet also great. Kitchen very well equipped with crockery and cooking pans / utensils. Oven and freezer were really useful to have. Owner very helpful when contacted about queries. Initially had trouble getting WiFi to work however if use long number on back of WiFi box then can get it to work. Difficult to ski from / to chalet with little snow, but good bus service and only a 5 min drive to La Plagne Village and ski lifts. Overall a lovely chalet, in a quite area of La Plagne.

The apartment is fantastic - very well furnished and stocked with lots of little extras you don't normally get in self-catered accommodation, and plenty of plates, mugs etc, that made it really easy to cater for the 6 of us. There is a bath with shower over and a shower room, but we were a little surprised there was only one toilet, I don't know why but for some reason we were expecting one in the bathroom and a separate one. I guess we didn't read the description carefully enough. There was loads of hot water, and the heating was excellent. There is a great selection of dvds unfortunately there is no TV aerial but we could have streamed from our tablet (the Wifi is free and very good) if we'd remembered the HDMI cable! The apartment block itself is quiet, in a quiet area. Its a short walk down to the bus stop, and the top of a shortcut to the red piste down to La Roche lift. You have to take care though, the road when we were there was extremely icy due to very cold temperatures and rain! There was parking for two cars close by. The shortcut to the piste is narrow, so involved snowploughing and walking uphill at the end (I never "let go" soon enough) - so if you are lazy/timid the ski bus is ideal - you can get to La Plagne centre and then change if you want to go to BellePlagne and its about the same time as it takes intermediate skiers to ski there so you can meet up. You can ski back at night to the top of the road, apparently its a "red red" so I didn't risk it with tired legs, but the rest of our party used this rather than the bus to get home. Checking in/out is really easy too - we arrived late at night and due to the key pickup it was no problem. The boot room for storing skis etc is a bonus. The La Plagne ski area is great for intermediates and it seemed to be mainly skiers - the weather wasn't great though so the fun parks were closed so maybe there would normally be more snowboarders. We were there at half-term and apart from queues at the main "access" lifts it was relatively quiet (again might have been the zero visibility putting people off). We would definitely book again, the owner is extremely friendly and responsive to emails and we felt very welcome. We had a taste of what it would be like in nice weather on our last day, and were gutted to be coming home.
