A thoroughly enjoyable place to spend several days. The house is quiet,well equipped for those who enjoy cooking,with easy access to centre ville by walking. The Leclerc market or Frais are both a short bike ride or 10-25 minute walk. Like many french cities, Manosque is better enjoyed without a car. Though a car is good to explore the area. Marlene is a terrific host and I’m looking forward to my next stay there. ,

We had a very pleasant and relaxing week in this house. The owners were very kind and accommodating including the lovely dog who would sit outside with us. We went to the museum of pre-histories at Verdon which was fascinating and very well presented including the English language commentary. We were also treated to a display of tombstoning at Verdon gorge where they had boats for hire. We didn’t use the car much as we could walk to the supermarket and also to the centre of Manosque which is picturesque. We loved having lunch there and the Lebanese restaurant and Les Deux Freres were particularly good. We wanted to relax and so did not move around much but there was lots to interest us had we wanted it. Altogether a lovely place to be
