😊: It’s wonderfully removed from the town, affording lots of tranquility. Lovely views too. 😢: Good pillows on the beds would be great, and a screen on the main bedroom window to prevent mosquitoes dive bombing in the middle of the night 😁.

😊: We spent almost two weeks there. We lost one of our three daughters 6 months ago and this was supposed to be her birthday week. So we needed something cozy and relaxing. The location was pretty good, private and quiet but close to Cannes and all the other beautiful spots. The house is quirky and small for a family of four but we liked that. We live in a very big house so it was our intention to adapt to a small house. The host answered all our requests and his mother was very nice. The house is old and has its character and its so nice to sit outside in the sun with a coffee and a croissant.. 😢: The main problem for us were the ants. Sure, I'm used to cleanliness and I like to keep my house cleaner than this house is. So when we stayed for 13 nights, it would have been nice to have better cleaning appliances like a vaccum cleaner. But we did not ask for it, and probably it would have been no problem to get a vaccum cleaner. I just decided to go with it and stick to the broom. But the only problem were the ants. Nota bene, we are not used to ants so we dont know what is normal and what is not. On the first day we realised that there are lots of ants on the porch and surroundings, and it was fun to watch them. I noticed that the trail led to a crack in the wall but we didnt see any inside. After a few days we fought them on the balcony where our girls were sleeping and thought we had won. Didnt see them there again. Then after 10 days it rained. Then they started to swarm through the air conditioning of our bedroom. I spent the evening fighting them off 😂 Not a big problem, but surely something needs to be done. And im sure it will be, but again, we didnt complain and maybe this would have been fixed quickly if I had..

😊: Independant house so more privacy than an apartment. They did put a new shower in and both bedrooms and ground floor have air conditioning.. 😢: The environment (it's not in the best part of town). The neighboring house is abandoned. Have been travelling extensively and thought it to be quite expensive in comparison..
