😊: Good location within easy walk of the old town. Supermarket next door. Spacious apartment with view across towards town. Good TV channel selection. Great that a parking card was provided to park across the street. Good instructions given for access to the building, the apartment, using the digital lock, TV etc. Washing machine very useful. Lift acess to level 4 was fabulous.. 😢: Better attention to the following would have significantly improved our opinion and experience: The leg of the bed fell off when I sat on the bed. We managed to screw it back but didn’t feel confident sleeping on the bed as we thought it might collapse any time. Looked like it may have happened before. Owners were notified but nobody came to check it out. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were small. The small tea towel provided was old and thin. There was no hand towel or hand soap provided in the bathroom or kitchen. Great to have car park access, but having to collect the parking card first and return it on departure was difficult due to lack of places to stop nearby to do so. There is a driveway near the entry door, but it is a thoroughfare and only one car wide. Having said that, not sure what the alternative would be. There was an empty bottle of washing machine liquid that looked like it had been there a long time. Surely it could have been replaced. Seems strange provide a washing machine but no washing capsules/liquid/powder. Train line nearby and trains can be heard at all hours. This didn’t affect us but it may a light sleeper..

😊: Great communication, spacious apartment in the very centre of Troyes and parking was excellent and across the street. And the door system was really easy. A perfect stay.. 😢: Nothing all was fantastic. Really minor thing was having fluffy towel and a hand towel..

😊: The location is excellent. The parking is just across the road and is free with the permit pass which is provided by the host. The balcony is wonderful to overlook the fantastic view of Troyes. The facilities inside are good - coffee machine, Netflix etc and the online information provided by the host is really helpful e.g. great places to eat..

😊: The apartment itself has many positive aspects: it is well located, has a great view from the balcony, excellent Wi-Fi, and is equipped with all the necessary appliances (except for a dishwasher). Coffee, tea, sugar, and even some breakfast cakes were kindly provided. There was also a fan which was enough for us due to the mild weather, though travelers during the hotter months should note the absence of full air conditioning.. 😢: There were some small maintenance issues – like a wobbly wardrobe and loose drawers – which didn’t bother us much, but they could use attention. The apartment had a baby crib, but no bedding for it, which we knew in advance from the house rules. However, the sofa bed was not made upon arrival, and after an 800 km drive with kids, having to make the beds ourselves was quite inconvenient. Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the lack of cleanliness. Upon arrival, we had to vacuum and wash the floors ourselves because our one-year-old child got noticeably dirty just from crawling around. The dishes were greasy, glasses had fingerprints and lip marks, the frying pan was dirty, and the freezer was so full of ice it couldn’t be opened. Curtains were missing in parts of the kitchen and bedroom, and there were holes in the bedroom wall, possibly from a removed TV. The most disturbing moment was during check-out: when checking the bedside tables (which we hadn’t used), we found a used feminine hygiene product left inside. This was absolutely unacceptable and extremely unhygienic. Sadly, despite the apartment’s good features, the lack of cleanliness overshadowed everything else. We hope the hosts will take this feedback seriously and improve the cleaning standards..

😊: The spaciousness and airy feel of the apartment with lovely views were the icing on the cake. What we really appreciated after hours driving on the motorway was the ease of checking in and finding a car parking space in the public car park across the road and how easy it was to walk to the old historic centre of Troyes. Despite being central, the bedroom is quiet as it looks out the back of the building.. 😢: Just one minor thing that can be easily fixed regarding kitchen utensils: we wanted to reheat something simple in the oven (a couple of slices of quiche) and just could not find a baking tray to do it with..
