« Le Bloom » T2 en centre ville avec parking

😊: There is ample free parking and a number of reasonably priced bars and restaurants nearby.. 😢: I was required to sign-up to 2 separate services outside of booking.com that I had never heard of before and put down a $300 deposit, which wasn't released until 2-3 weeks after the stay was complete. There was a problem with the boiler that meant that we had no hot water for the last 2 days and the app used to communicate with the host wasn't working. The toilet door also didn't close properly - you had to literally lift it off the hinges each time to get it to (almost) close, which quite frankly is unacceptable in any property, let alone one costing that much. If staying in the summer months bear in mind that there is no air conditioning or fans supplied and it gets very hot. You also can't open the windows due to the traffic noise. A couple of fans would have helped! Overall the price was very high for the standard of the property and the photos make it look bigger than it actually is, so if you're staying with anyone but your partner it feels pretty cramped..

😊: Nicely (partially) renovated apartment, in a good location. In fairness, they have definitely listened to some (but only some) previous guests as the sofa seemed to be replaced and so the mattress. These 2 were comfortable. Unfortunately the pillows were so hard, it felt like our heads were resting on concrete bricks!. 😢: The list is long, so make yourself comfortable to read it: 1. No instructions on how to locate the entrance to the apartment: it's the very dirty outdoors staircase. 2. The place is very dark, even on a sunny day it's much darker than in the photos. Smells bad when windows closed and it gets very hot when you open them. 3. There's a very loud and small fan provided (it was mainly full of dust but I cleaned it before I used it). There is no window in the bedroom but a sliding glass to the leaving room. During the summer, the only way to get some air in is to keep the fan on, but you gotta have good earplugs with you or the noise won't let you sleep. 3. There is a washing machine but no washing detergent (apparently everyone travels with one!), also only 1 toilet roll for 5 night stay (we got an extra one after we complained about other things but at that point we already bought it ourselves!). 1 of 2 large towels was very stinky, so we were down to only 1. The property advertises toiletries, but there were none. No soap, no shower gel or shampoo (4 tiny bottles were brought to us after a complaint). Hot water is a lottery, you might get 5min or 15 seconds of it! (and the gas heater is constantly on!). 4. The fully equipped kitchen is more of a joke, and that's a rather bad one. It's fully equipped but mainly with leftovers from the previous guests: old spices, empty bottle of olive oil, empty roll of tinfoil etc. No toaster, no kettle (apparently the previous guest broke it and we were supposed to be given a new one but we weren't). There's some dirty coffee machine with no coffee pods, and the pots are only as clean as the previous guest left them, ours were stinky and sticky. No washing up liquid made it impossible to clean them either so we had to eat out on our first night (the washing up liquid and 1 extra kitchen rug was brought much later after our complaint upon the arrival) 5. "Boasting a balcony" hmmm...

😊: The location was good and easy to find. The amenities were good and the apartment was clean and tidy.. 😢: The stairs to the apartment are very steep. A little welcome pack would have been valuable including things like the WiFi details, passwords etc..
