😊: Excellent location 5/6 mins from Puy de Fou.

😊: We booked to stay whilst visiting Puy Du Fou. We had several emails before arrival and all communication with the host was great ahead of arrival. The location was perfect, very close to Puy du Fou and just off the village square. The house was a good size for our party (5 adults and an older teen), quiet, there was an amazing night sky, very good supplies of kitchen equipment/plates and a full sized fridge freezer. Beds were comfortable, bed linens were arranged.. 😢: Shortly after arrival on Saturday evening, the upstairs bathroom door handle broke and we couldn't access it (or the toiletries/personal possessions left inside). We contacted the host company to be advised there was no one available until Monday. After complaining we appreciate they arranged for someone to come out, but we had already left for the Cinescenie performance. A second handle also broke that night and people were stuck in a bedroom until they phoned us to release them. All the upstairs handles were "wobbly" so we had to be careful and we were left sharing one bathroom. They did fully fix the problem while we were out on the Monday. We were just disappointed having booked a managed property that we couldn't arrive at until 4pm, that there was no-one available locally when we contacted them at 6pm. I would expect there to be someone available on all check-in days. We have given this full explanation of our experience, to explain the score..

😊: Very clean. Well organised. Clear instruction. Ideal location near to the village centre. Beautiful roof top view.. 😢: Rather hot. Fans would have helped keep rooms cool. Not all rooms had shutters. Twin room had no clothes hanging space..
