😊: This property is in a really brilliant location if you're spending some time in Angers, just a short walk from the centre of the town and all of the amenities you'd expect. It's even on the tourist road train route as there are several interesting buildings/things to see nearby. There doesn't appear to be any parking space reservation system, but we managed to park outside on arrival and again, but in a different spot after a day trip. It was easy enough to find the property and to get access via key in the lockbox. We opted to give the kids the bedroom and took the sofa bed. It's not the best sofa bed I've slept on but not the worst either, and easy enough to assemble. Kitchenette was fine - rather small, but good enough for our basic needs. Probably won't be ideal if you're expecting to have a self-catered holiday where you do lots of cooking and food preparation, but fine for making breakfast / snacks / cheese board / quick pasta dinners etc.. 😢: The bathroom (and shower cubicle) is incredibly small. It's "bang your elbows on the sides of the shower cubicle walls" small. This didn't cause us any particularly issues as none of us are large / have any mobility problems, but other reviews have noted this and they're not wrong..

😊: - The property is located in a beautiful and peacefiul square on the opposite bank of the river from the main town - a simple and pleasant 20 minute walk. - Free parking is available in the local streets - There are many bars, shops and small supermarkets in the immediate area - Angers is a fantastic city - The garden at the house offers shade if the weather is very hot (it wasn't during our visit). 😢: These are not negatives as we were aware before we travelled, but people should take note before booking that: - The bathroom is small and the shower is tiny - Cooking facilities are limited (e.g. no full sized oven) THIS IS A CRITICISM: - The checking in process and finding the keys is crazy! You receive a message that there is no number '12' on the front door. SO PUT ONE ON THE DOOR TO MAKE LIFE EASIER FOR EVERYONE! You are also advised that the keys are held in a lock box around the corner (in a different street) hidden behind some ivy. They are actually beside the property's rear entrance but you don't know that at the time. WHY NOT MOVE THE LOCK BOX SO THAT IT IS LOCATED BY THE FRONT DOOR, AGAIN MAKING LIFE EASIER? After having driven for over six hours to get to the house, I was not in the mood for such unnecessary complications..
