Le caviste 2ème Étage

😢: The apartment itself was fine, but the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and very cheap outdated feeling. I didn’t feel comfortable and didn’t enjoy my stay at all due to the constant strict warnings and rules. First of all, it required a €150 deposit for just one night, and it took many days to be returned. I also kept receiving messages about all the rules, which made it hard to relax. It felt like I was walking on eggshells and could easily break a rule and lose my deposit. I’ve stayed at many private properties and BnBs before and have never experienced such unpleasant continuous message warning all the rules. And all instructions was only in French and wasn’t very clear. I do not recommend this place!.

😊: Nice location, calm, clean, modern flat with good facilities.. 😢: N/A.

😊: We liked the apartment which was clean,warm,comfy bed and good shower. No problems at all with the standard of accomodation.. 😢: I didn't like being peppered with messages telling me what to do, what not to do, where not to park, how much I would be fined for this, or that,and instructions for everything being only in French....I appreciate there is a need for a sensible level of communication- ( as some people are no doubt thoughtless), but to us, the above just felt a bit excessive ( maybe we were just tired from a huge drive....) There are cameras on every door, every floor, and whilst simply going back and forth to the car- I didn't like the cameras following me , tracking me. There is a fine line between security and surveillance .......

😊: Nice apartment for an overnight stay. 😢: With 2 dogs it was a challenge to get up 2 flights of spiral staircase to the top floor apartment.
