Parfait Des hôtes accueillants et sympathiques, un gîte bien équipé, au calme, proche de toutes les commodités. Bilan, un séjour parfait pour nous. Nous reviendrons c'est certain.

A truly delightful stay We had the most wonderful stay for just over a week at Daniels gites in Prigonrieux. The gites is excellently located a stones throw from the Dordogne, across from a supermarket and round the corner from an excellent butcher. If you're looking for a self contained getaway for relaxation, reading in the shade and taking a dip in the pool, we can't recommend this gites highly enough. If you're the adventurous type who wants to be jetting around for a holiday, Prigonrieux is well enough connected to meet those needs too. The gites itself is very spacious and well equipped with a patio area furnished with two parasols to keep the sun off. We spent many happy hours reading in the shade to the soundtrack of bumblebees in the lavender. The road despite being so close is extremely quiet so should not be taken as a source of concern. The pool is big for a "small pool" as advertised, but perfect in it's function of cooling one down in the heat of summer. Daniel himself is an excellent host. His English is very good despite his modest insistence it isn't, and he straddled the line of being around if we needed anything and leaving us to feel independent on holiday absolutely perfectly. He is very generous and ensured we had a fresh supply of vegetables from his garden for the duration of our stay. We can't recommend this place highly enough, our only issue is that by saying so it will likely make scheduling a return trip all the more difficult as other holiday-makers take our commendation to heart. Here's hoping we find a way to return next year!

Our stay at PRIGONRIEUX The gite was very well stocked with everything one would want. Lovely touch the owners had stocked the fridge with nice cold drinks, just what you need after a long warm journey. Bathroom very well furnished with a lovely shower. In hot weather the fan provided was very much appreciated. Overall the accommodation was excellent. The terrace along with parasols was very enjoyable , especially watching the bees on the lavender. All in all the gite was excellently managed.

Peaceful Daniel and Marie are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The Gite has everything you could need. It is in a brilliant location for visiting lots of beautiful old towns. We hope to return sometime.

Vacances à Prigonrieux Très bon accueil. Logement spacieux et bien équipé. Petite terrasse avec table, parasols et BBQ. Environnement moyen (en face du Carrefour Market, ce qui a aussi un côté pratique). La prise de vue de la piscine ci-dessus est vraiment mensongère. Ce n'est qu'une petite piscine hors sol de 6m sur 3m, mais agréable tout de même avec sa petite terrasse.

Superb Daniel was welcoming and very helpful with advice and suggestions. We enjoyed meeting Nadine. Elle était gentille quand je pratiquais mon français.

Ferienwohnung TOP Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit allem was man für einen Urlaub benötigt.Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es ist keine Klimaanlage im Haus, das haben wir nicht als störend empfunden. Es wird in dieser Ferienwohnung nicht übermäßig warm.Von daher braucht man keine. Der Empfang war hervorragend. Uns wurde alles gut erklärt. Die Umgebung ist schön grün, dass haben wir als sehr angenehm empfunden. Hervorzuheben auch die Mitbenutzung des Pools. Was für eine schöne Abkühlung am Abend sorgte. Einkauf,Tankstelle in der nahen Umgebung optimal. Zu Fuß in den Carrefour und zu einer sehr guten Boulangerie. Die Anfahrt mit dem PKW war einfach . Ein guter und sicherer Stellplatz ist vorhanden. Eine Empfehlung von uns. Hier kann man einen schönen Urlaub verbringen.
