😊: The location,apart from the main road close by, was great.. 😢: The coffee machine was awkward to handle. Shower was a bit small.The access path was difficult to manage. Elderly people should be warned..

😊: The location is fantastic, overlooking the river. So much to see, something going on or along the river at all time. Nice property with everything you need. Hosts were on vacation themselves so can not comment on them (check in and out is contactless as advertised). Just be aware as others have mentioned it is a long walk and a lot of steps (uneven steps and ground) to the car parking space and the property), definitely not for anyone with any mobility issues.. 😢: Unfortunately, perhaps due to the hosts being on vacation themselves, we felt the outside of the property was untidy. The ground was covered in more than a weeks worth of leaves (that I raked up half of myself just to be able to use the garden furniture). The outside table/furniture did not look like it had been cleaned. One of the balcony chairs is missing a wooden slat. All the flowers/flower pots were dead. I think the photos advertising the property are several years old, the area for boarding a canoe/kayak is nothing like the photo shown (I have attached photos from our visit for comparison). Perhaps due to the river location as well, but at night we sat playing cards at the outside table, and there was a rat or two (not afraid of humans) who were happy to come out and rummage around (around the steps up to the chalet..

Fabulous location<br>#128578; Absolutely stunning location - a former boathouse on the river, with a balcony where we sat watching a kingfisher, family of grebes, woodpeckers, ducks etc. Very comfortable and good value. Bus to Orléans within 5 minute walk.<br>#128577; Just be aware it's a little way from the parking space to the chalet, down some uneven steps. But very well worth it. And the first part of the path is lined with honeysuckle and jasmine - gorgeous!

Sur les Bords du Loiret<br>#128578; Passé la 1er surprise de l accès un peu difficile surtout avec une valise le spectacle des bords du loiret est superbe et le chalet très confortable.
