Wonderful stay! Peter and Jennie are wonderful hosts, warm, welcoming and full of local knowledge. They are prepared to chat when wanted, but are not intrusive at all and fully respect guests privacy. The gite was lovely, a perfect nest for two. Clean, cosy, comfortable and sympathetically furnished it has everything one could need. Linens/ tea/coffee/cleaning essentials etc are provided and there is a lovely welcome pack (fresh eggs/apple juice/preserves/wine) to greet you. The gite is in a truly beautiful location but still close to supermarkets/restaurants/A20, so you have the best of all worlds. It's so peaceful surrounded by nature with just birdsong and the breeze to break the silence. There are a few animals, sheep/chickens/friendly dogs/cat. We are animal lovers so enjoyed playing with the dogs, but the hosts understand that not everyone is ok with animals. They are quite prepared to keep them away if the guests so wish. Although there are chickens we didn't hear a cockerel at the crack of dawn, so enjoyed peaceful sleep. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful place with professional hosts, and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants a relaxing break in the countryside. We will certainly book again when we return to the area next spring. Thank you Peter and Jennie, we'll see you next time!
