😊: The concierge was so helpful, obtaining extra umbrellas for us. Great communication with us also. Excellent location for a great family get away in the country. Lovely walks on the estate with some fantastic wildlife. Pool toys were a great addition for the kids- great gesture. 😢: Ideally a fridge by the pool, given how far it is from the chateau. The decking beside the pool needs to be replaced. Every one of us got a splinter. Overall the potential is stunning, but the property could do with some modernising particularly bathrooms..

😊: We were two families, a group of nine. Everyone had their own room which was nice and the beds were fine. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house as we went on daytrips, but time spent at Tertu was good. It would have been nice to have more outdoor furniture, so that the whole group could lounge in the same area without having to move bulky furniture around. The pool was a big hit with the younger ones, but it was a bit chilly for us older folks.. 😢: The furniture, such as sofas and chairs in lounge rooms, needs replacing. The dishwasher also needs decalcifying or replacing. The WiFi doesn't reach all areas of the house. These are first world problems and not serious as such, but could have made the stay a bit more comfortable..

😊: Loved the peace and quiet. The property was not too far from the town (just 8 minutes drive) but it felt like it was remote. Such a beautiful old house. The host is extremely helpful and it was really nice to be met at the property on arrival and that she took the time to call in to say goodbye when we were leaving.. 😢: Unfortunately, the pool area lacked sun beds. Also, because the property is so large and old, on cooler, damp days it felt cold inside so it would have been nice to have had heating. These are not criticisms, just observations..
