Le Clos des Prés

This was a real oasis of peace and quiet after days out visiting Paris, Disneyland and the local area. There was plenty of space and even horses to visit outside! Highly recommend every part of it - especially visits to Paris (park at Marles-en-Brie and check the train times!) and locally to Provins (though be warned it gets busy in the French holidays!). We very much hope we can return soon.

Great communication from the start from Elisabeth. Lovely Gite located in a small hamlet about 15 minutes from the medieval town of Provins. Beautifully peaceful next to a farm in a rural area. Clean, comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Definitely deserves the all round five star ratings. Great value too

Lovely property close to the beautiful town of Provins and a fun train ride to Paris. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed. Check-in and out was easy and communication with the owner was great. Our children loved the horses and the visiting cat. A fab place to stay in the countryside.

Das Objekt war besser als erwartet. Es ist eine alte Scheune auf einem Bauernhof, die zu einer zweistöckigen Wohnung saniert wurde. Genug Platz für uns 5. Es gibt neben den zwei Parkplätzen sogar eine Garage. Die Kids freuten sich über die Pferde, die Hunde und die riesige Schaukel. Wir uns über die Waschmaschine, getrennte Badezimmer und den Wohnbereich. Außer Felder und Ruhe, gibt es da aber nicht viel. Man braucht ein Auto oder geht eben sehr weit spazieren. Wir haben es als Base zum Ausflug nach Paris benutzt und haben unter der Woche eh nur gearbeitet. Geschäfte, Bäckereien und Restaurants sind im Umkreis von 15km zu finden. Mit Elisabeth hat die Kommunikation super geklappt. Ist ne Unterkunft, in der wir auch locker zwei Wochen hätten bleiben können.

Had a wonderful week away in a part of France we haven’t been to before. Our accommodation had everything we needed for a family of 4, Had a day trip to Paris early on before relaxing and staying local. Elisabeth was a great host and we look forward to coming again John

Super très bien entretenu nous étions 2 couples d amis pour 3 jours pour les médiévales de provins il y avait largement de vaisselle pour les personnes qu ils veulent cuisiner juste un petit détail il faudrait une cafetière plus grande car là on avait une petite deux tasses et quand on est 4 adultes c est pas pratique sinon tout était parfait je recommande ce gîte

We had a lovely time in this cottage. It was very clean en comfortable. The owners were very helpful. We had a private incident en needed their help. They came immidiately and helped us very well. Thank you, Elisabeth! The surroundings are beautifull with lovely views. You can enjoy the rest in your own garden. The nearest supermarket is a little drive, about 6 km's. We visited Paris by car. It was only an hour drive and we parked in the middle of Paris very easily. We also recommend the Vélorail in Ferra Botanica. And don't forgot to visit the medieval town Provins.
