Great gite, good location, and a warm welcome This is a great little gite for a family stay. The location is particularly good with quick access to a lot of the Fontainebleau forest area, with a nice private garden with plenty of shade for the hot days, and a nice relaxed and safe feel to the place. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, speaks great English, and is generally really helpful - and makes great fig jam!

Fantastic week in a nice Gite I stayed with my son in February and had an amazing week of bouldering. There was a very warm welcome from the friendly and knowledgeable host and he was readily available if we had any questions. The village has a bakery and plenty of other shops including a really good supermarket with petrol station. Very well located for all the bouldering areas. The beds were comfortable and we stayed warm despite the icy weather outside. Broadband worked well and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Great value and hopefully we will be able to come again one day.

Perfect stay Stayed here as 4 adults and two small children, great location for Elephant bouldering area, which is great for kids. After a long drive to Font we really enjoyed the quiet walk into the boulders each day. Our Toddler also loved the walk to boulangerie each morning for his croissant. Hope to return

Very comfortable and excellent location The owner was welcoming and provided good information including about the restaurant in the village which excellent. The bed is comfortable and the shower very good. It is in a quiet setting but only a lovely 15 minute drive through the forest to Fontainebleau and 25 to the railway station for trains to Paris. Ideal.

Excellent rapport qualité prix Notre hôte était très accueillant et aimable. La gîte et très confortable avec beaucoup de charme. Nous reviendrons.
