Not long enough😉<br>#128578; We just loved the property, so pretty, very typical French chateau with some wonderful nooks and crannies, only 9 rooms, but lots of pretty areas in the gardens. Just stunning, and the icing on the cake was the owners Stephane and Christine, to say we were made so welcome and looked after would be as understatement, I think they will become friends as we will certainly return and spend more time in Blaye. What a find 😉<br>#128577; Everything 🤩 We shared a bottle or two of their very nice wine, sitting in the garden outside our room. Breakfast in the large communal kitchen was delicious. One thing I would like in the future stays is Dressing Gowns and slippers as the stone walls and floors, which are stunning, so make for chilly nights in the Autumn months, Nice thick, cosy towels would also be another added bonus. But….nothing will stop us from coming back to the hospitality we received.❤️

A wonderful oasis.<br>#128578; We loved everything about our stay here. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic - large and very comfortable.The swimming pool was very welcome after a long cycle ride and the secure bike storage was great. The breakfast choice was also wonderful: fresh croissants, apple tart, cheese meats, yogurts...I could go on! The location is very peaceful despite only being a short walk to the centre of Blaye and the citadel. We really hope to be back as soon as we can.

The morning breakfast was impressive and full of variety. We were within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops, along with historic sites such as the citadel. Our hosts were lovely and very accommodating with our last minute reservation.
