😊: The apartment is modern, nice, spacious and clean. The price and location were good, but the noise at night was terrible.. 😢: The apartment is on the ground floor, and there is another apartment above. To access the apartment above, a metal door and stairs on the side of my apartment on the ground floor had to be used. This metal door apparently was very difficult to open and close and would make loud noises when ever someone was using it. Being a metal door just made matters worse, and most of the time, the door was slammed, whether it was opening or closing. Whoever was in the apartment above me would come back in very late, while I was sleeping, and then bang, followed by loud noises. It was horrible, annoying and very frustrating. One night after all the noises to get in the apartment above me, it was followed by several banging of doors in the apartment above, and that was like 4.00 am in the morning. In the day time the noise from the metal door was annoying, but OMG, at night time, this thing was a nightmare. I will never stay here again..

😊: The apartment is well located in the center and it was clean. 😢: Unfortunately unlike the vast majority of places we have stayed (and we travel a lot!), this apartment did not have basic items needed when spending a few days in a place: no hand soap, no shower gel or shampoo, only one loo roll, one coffee pod for the coffee machine, no washing up liquid to clean dishes if needed…. Before checking in, we were asked to pay an outrageous deposit of €200 on top of what we had already paid for our stay. We were asked to click on a link to pay the money. This is not a thing, particularly when using a trustable platform like booking.com. Also, the money is only given back to you a week later. The apartment is also quite noisy from neighbours simply coming in and out of their own apartments through the backstairs. Lots of slamming doors and chattering from the corridors. They also have an awful automatic key system which locks and unlocks the door automatically with a tiny fob. This was left out charging as we checked in and did not give us confidence we wouldn’t be left locked in or out at any point if the battery ran out during our stay..
