😊: Excellent location.

😊: Great location, couldn’t fault it. The apartment is in a lovely, quiet side street, very close to the cathedral and well placed for exploring the old town and city walls. Beautiful old building with plenty of charm. Dogs welcome too. Parking on street we found easily and free, pretty much outside the property, but we were visiting in early May so may be more difficult in Summer. There is a narrow steep-ish staircase to the apartment (only one floor) so if you are less mobile this could be challenging. Little courtyard garden which is shared is useful for pre-bedtime doggy wees. Communication with host was excellent and easy access through key box, which was clear and easy to navigate.. 😢: This a studio apartment and the main room is spacious. However the shower room is pretty compact and bijou. I managed to scrape my shoulder on the shower handle whilst washing, and I’m a very small person. The door to the bathroom is a sliding glass screen and not soundproof so unless you’re on very good terms with your travel companion this could be a touch embarrassing (at certain times) Kitchen not really designed for cooking but then to be fair this location is an eat out spot rather than eating in. There were no coffee mugs in the kitchen only espresso cups, we ended up making our morning coffee in some paper cups that I found in the cupboards. (Appreciate the need for a decent sized morning coffee of tea mug is a distinctly British thing and this isn’t uncommon in France) No English channels on TV but you’re supposed to be out enjoying yourself not watching TV!.
