House not very welcoming with chairs on table like a closed cafe. Also, bowls and cups had chips and cracks in them and a few not cleaned well. Saying that, host was very responsive and helpful and answered all our questions. Location was great and house was comfortable. You have to pay for parking on all roads but spaces right outside. Lovely area for cycling

This is a good enough rental but with some touches could be so much better. The biggest problem we had were the stairs to the bedroom, and if you have to use the bathroom you will be using them to descend from the loft beds. They are very narrow very steep and the bannister has come loose. This is a real safety problem and impossible for many people Throughout our stay my wife kept saying well this is how French rentals are. So you understand there was no toilet paper no paper towels no shampoo and old bar of soap and you pay for sheets towels and cleaning… the once beautiful terrace garden is overgrown and full of weeds. On the positive side, the kitchen is well equipped and spacious. And please do not store cleaning equipment in the dining room.

Madame Corinne replied to messages quickly (only in French) and was friendly when she met us at the gite. The accommodation is basic but a great location for the beach and small selection of shops and places to eat. Take a fan for summer months and money for on street parking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Le Crotoy. The gite was very modern with excellent appliances, everything was very clean and the garden is a real sun trap, we would definitely recommend. Thank you Madame Duclat, and also Jean Claud for your translation!
