Le Domaine de Provence Country Club

This was one of 6 properties we stayed at during our 32 day vacation in France and it was by far the worst. We chose this so-called 4 star property because of the excellent 8.6 rating and beautiful pictures on Expedia. The reality, unfortunately was totally different : the apartment we stayed in (the 2nd one after we asked to switch) was in a worn-down, dilapidated condition with mold in the shower, black mold in the shower vent, rusted toilet seat hardware, a clogged shower head, mold on the wall next to the kitchen countertop, an open garbage bin under the kitchen sink, a defective fridge, a worn-out sofa bed in the living room, etc… See pictures. They speak for themselves. The apartments in this country club are a far cry from the description and beautiful pictures on their website and on Expedia. The pictures were clearly taken years ago and no longer reflect the deplorable condition this property is in today. And I’m not just talking about the apartments but also the roads on the property which are full of potholes and the weeds which are growing everywhere. This property is in urgent need of a complete overhaul/renovation. P.S. No comment on the golf course. It looked fine from a distance but we didn’t play golf during our stay.

Nice location. But very hot in the summer and there is no Air condition. Otherwise a very lovely place in Provence

We arrived with 2 young kids to the appartement in a hot July day, to discover there is no AC in the appartement, it was probably 40 degrees C inside which was unbereable. We asked for fans to keep the kids cool but there was none. The pool was very small and busy so not even an option. The room and furniture are very old and outdated, towels disgusting and very very used Such a shame for a so called 4star facility. After 2 hours with no other choice we left and checked out as it was physically impossible to stay. We explain our situation to the reception which was understanding but the direction refused to refund anything of the pre paid 3 nights we had booked. Was a terrible finish for our beautiful vacation in the region out of the places we picked this one was a big mistake

Leandscape, neature, whole impression is really all right

We had a wonderful stay at Le Domaine de Provence! When we first entered our room, we were greeted by a generous gift package of locally made spreads and wine on our counter, which we couldn’t help but eat on our first night. It was always a relief to return from a windy day in Provence to our well-heated room, where we could watch the sun set over the beautiful golf course. My husband enjoyed playing golf with other guests, and our whole family got to play tennis on the grass courts. A perfect place to stay during our vacation in Provence!
