Gîte idéalement placé pour visiter la région Propriétaires très accueillants. Le lieu est idéal pour visiter la région : de nombreux sites d'intérêt de tous types à proximité. Le gîte est bien équipé mais assez sombre, certainement adapté à la chaleur l'été. Seul bémol, la proximité avec la route Périgueux Sarlat qui est vraiment très bruyante. Le grand jardin à l'arrière des 3 gîtes est très agréable et plus au calme. La piscine a l'air très bien (mais non testée fin avril).

Bon séjour dog friendly Très bon accueil des propriétaires. Endroit parfait si on vient avec son chien. Seul bémol, la proximité avec la route qui va de Périgueux à Sarlat qui est bruyante.

Gite sympa Le lieu est très sympa, idéal pour visiter la région. Les propriétaires sont très à l'écoute des besoins. Le cadre, avec la piscine, le jardin et la terrasse est agréable. Literie confortable. Le point à améliorer peut être les espaces de rangements notamment dans la cuisine. Ce qui nous a le plus déranger est le bruit de la route jour et nuit.

Wonderful setting for a holiday This property is on the outskirts of Les Eyzies on the road to Sarlat.There are 2 terrace rental properties alongside the owner's property, which is fenced off to the side and back of their property as they have 4 dogs and 2 cats.The owners give you a warm welcome,but the owners wife doesn't speak English and he speaks only a little English.The property is spacious but basic downstairs with a good size master bedroom with a shower over the bath in the bathroom. It still retains signs of its previous use as a farm building with wooden beams throughout the property. The kitchen area is basic and usable but the sofa and chairs are very hard and uncomfortable. The garden area behind the owners property is absolutely huge, complimented by a stream that runs from the hills across the road,through the driveway and the garden flowing into the river at the far end of the garden.There's also a small shared swimming pool, a pitch to play boules/pétanque and a small summer house.We found the property à good base to explore the area's prehistoric heritage and chateaux.There's a free car park 2 minutes drive from the property if you want visit Les Eyzies as the footpath doesn't go as far as this property.There are plenty of snack bars and restaurants in the town as well as a weekly market.The owners of this property are very unobtrusive but willing to help if they can.

Excellent point de chute Accueil très chaleureux, petites attentions de bienvenue! Emplacement ideal pour rayonner et visiter cette belle région. Des conseils de visite et une grande discrétion lors du séjour. Donc un endroit à recommander absolument!

LesEyzies This was our first trip to the Dordogne and we had a fantastic time staying here.The Gite was a perfect base for touring around. The best part of our visit has to be our hosts Pascal and Marie-Caroline. They clearly love the Dordogne and want their visitors to enjoy it too with recommendations of where to go and the best restaurants. They made it a home away from home for us.
