😊: We loved staying in this gorgeous house in lovely Monpazier and would definitely do so again. Béatrix is a responsive host who cares that her guests are happy. She greeted us with a huge welcome gift of her own fresh garden produce and eggs, homemade fruit punch and biscuits plus beers and soft drinks in the fridge. We slept well and the showers and cooking facilities were good. Very bright, spacious, clean, airy and tastefully decorated with the poppy theme throughout. Béatrix gave us lots of ideas of things to do. A guidebook with these ideas would be a great addition. The pretty neighbourhood cat popped in once for a visit as we had left all the doors and windows open. For info: soft mattresses in the double and twin bedrooms at the front and a firm mattress in the ensuite bedroom. 😢: On the first day we had no wifi or hot water but Béatrix perservered and got these sorted. It appears that the wifi issue was known about before our arrival yet took up two hours with us to resolve. Both of these worked fine after the inital setbacks. We would suggest always providing a fan for the non AC bedroom in summer (it was provided after we requested it), making the main bedroom wardrobe functional and adding locks to the bathroom and toilet doors for a totally relaxed guest experience. None of this detracted from our real satisfaction with this house, Monpazier and our host Béatrix..
