Le gite d'Or

😊: Quiet, well located, 3 minutes walk to the boulangerie. 😢: Low ceilings, especially in the kitchen.

😊: Well equipped apartment in the heart of Vouvray. Washing machine available. Spacious and warm in March. Several wineries and restaurants close by. Parking right outside. Lovely host who greeted us but speaks no English.. 😢: Outside stairs could be a problem for some people but we were fine. Toilet room is tiny..

😊: We stayed an extra night :-). 😢: Nothing.

😊: Although we only stayed 2 nights en-route to Spain, this was a great stop over. Easy access to motorways. Easy Walk into the town centre and all amenities. Plentiful restaurants and wine tasting. The garden was good to sit and enjoy a glass or 2 of the local Vouvray in the sunshine. Also good for our 2 dogs. Would recommend..
