Le gîte des Remparts

😊: Comfy place, well equiped, clean, spacey, bright, quiet at night. We only spent 1 night here during our transfer so can´t comment on location. Communication with the host was smooth, instructions clear. Merci beaucoup Marie-Alice!.

😊: Marie-Alice met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment. She was super nice and helpful, even offered to drive us into Commercy to buy Madeleines! The apartment is well-equipped, even our bikes had their very own garage. The apartment was a bit cold but there are radiators in every room which warmed up the place really fast and I assume during the hot months (we were there in late May), the coolness is an advantage. The shower isn't in a room by itself with a door but rather in an separate part of the corridor but the way it's built still gives you enough privacy so that nobody can inadvertently walk in on you.. 😢: The shower takes some getting used to and both shower and toilet are tiny with narrow entries. Not an issue for us but might feel uncomfortable for others..

😊: Great little house tucked away in a small village. Super nice bedroom and living room. Bathroom was small but functional. There is a small garden where we could safely store our bicycles. Newly renovated and clean.. 😢: Nothing really..
