Le Gîte des Violettes

😊: Great location, very quiet..

😊: Gite violette is a lovely normandy farm house, fantastic location for visiting the Orne/ calvados region and more. We booked the gite for an important 4 generational family trip to the region {ages ranged from 4 to 92} and it accommotated our needs perfectly. We were very busy so werent able to fully utilise all the facilities provided like the bbq and games room, we wished we could have stayed longer. Communication with Ellie the host was easy, very friendly and ensured we could get hold of her during our stay if needed. Would definitely stay there again if in the region.. 😢: could havve done with waste paper baskets in the bedrooms, and information folder with info about the house / equipment instructions, but i'm getting picky now!!.

😊: Large spacious house,private garden,large kitchen close to the local town. Very good base to visit the Normandy beaches and St Malo and Mont St Michel etc, very quiet and peaceful area that this property is located in with plenty of parking space as well.. 😢: Nothing.

😊: It was super cosy and fantastic comfortable place! For 10 people we have 5 bedrooms, with 4 toilets and 3 douches, we didn’t have any queues and spent not a lot of time. Also house have beautiful backyard and very big living room when we can eat and drink together. Each room has unique decor and interesting atmosphere where you want to stand more. Unfortunately we have only one night in this fascinating place but I hope we can return in the future ❤️ PS: perfect for introverts - keys was under codelock, so we didn’t special time to check in.. 😢: A little bit difficult to find, but host switch lights outside which helps us a lot!.

😊: Beautiful farmhouse with great facilities. Didn’t stay long, but would do so next time. Host really helpful and accessible.. 😢: Some of the mattresses were too soft (but that’s personal preference!).
