LE GITE DU COLOMBIER

😊: Fantastic gite situated in the stunning grounds of a chateau. We loved the peace and quiet, the birdsong in the morning, the sunny terrace in the evening and the gorgeous gardens. Elodie was the perfect host. We really enjoyed our stay. 😢: The sofa, perhaps two armchairs would be more comfortable.

😊: The Gite de Colombier was a charming place to stay, and our host was very pleasant and helpful. The gardens and location were beautiful. The continental breakfast was good. We will plan to return there when we explore more of the area next summer.. 😢: We'll aim to bring a few provisions next time as there isn't a shop in the village. It would be useful to have a small carton of milk, for example..

😊: The whole experience was superb ! The photos dont tell the full story, the historic building is so original with decore to match. Position is spectacular! Perfect for silence and remote. We will be returning with family. Blown away. Host was superb and breakfast a delight. Such a great price, we hope it stays that way ! Full marks, we have stayed in many, this is up with the very best !. 😢: Downstairs toilet would be a big plus !.

😊: The property was set in spectacular grounds with wonderful walks around the lakeside. Very easy to get to.. beautiful attention to detail in front of the owners chateau. Safe and secure with parking for our car and the Wi-Fi was very good. It was warm and comfortable and had plenty of storage.. 😢: The tiled stairs were very steep and felt unsafe with a rope for a rail that did become detached during our stay.. the owner did mention the panel was missing off the bath and it did detract from the finish of the bathroom. Small things like a baking tray, ice cube tray and some larger wine glasses would have been appreciated as would a couple of tea towels. There was a lack of comfy chairs with only a sofa bed to sit on which was facing away from the tv ..
