😢: Unfortunately, our experience with this apartment was very disappointing, mainly because of the cleanliness and hygiene. When we arrived and later prepared to go to bed, we noticed that the bed linen was visibly stained and did not appear properly clean. We contacted the host about this issue, and he explained that the marks were simply caused by the age and use of the linen. For me, this is not an acceptable explanation or solution. Even if the stains were indeed caused by age and long-term use, the obvious solution would be to replace the bed linen with clean and presentable sets before new guests arrive. We also found hairs on the bath towels. Those cannot simply be explained as “signs of age” or normal wear and tear. What made the situation even worse was that we did not feel comfortable using the beds under these conditions. As a result, all three of us ended up sleeping on the couch. I was in direct contact with the host and gave him the opportunity to address the problem, but unfortunately I did not feel that the hygiene concerns were taken seriously or resolved properly. Clean bed linen and clean towels are among the most basic expectations when booking accommodation. The apartment may have other positive aspects, but the lack of cleanliness made our stay extremely uncomfortable and is the main reason why I cannot recommend it..
