Le Grand Aigle, bel appartement style chalet - Two-Bedroom Apartment

😊: A spacious family space for a family of four. A well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to the lake. Hiking nearby.. 😢: Irritating messages about bedding and towels (additional charge of €115 for four people) that never materialised and asking for a bank transfer assumes the customer has access to mobile banking. Instructions for arrival were poor. Cleanliness was poor right from the outer door - first impressions count! I booked for five days and four people - why was only one toilet roll provided, no cleaning materials, an old, dirty dish sponge was provided but no ability to clean the bathroom after use. There's a dishwasher but no consumables. The building is deteriorating, which is exacerbated by the recent hot weather, we shouldn't be getting splinters in our hands from the hand rails. I was expecting a double bed - there isn't one. Even with the clear blue skies we had the rooms are dark so lighting was needed throughout the day - might be OK in winter but not OK in August. Unfortunately this system doesn't accept the format of my pictures..
