Le Grand Chene

😊: It's our second time to Le Grand Chene and already we've booked our return. Its truly our favourite place. Emmanuelle and James are the most wonderful hosts. They make you feel so welcome ❤️. The most beautiful gite, in the best location with the nicest of hosts.. 😢: Having to leave, had tears in our eyes We miss it already.

😊: We spent two unforgettable weeks at this beautiful holiday home and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The house is spotless, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything you might need, but what truly sets it apart is the wonderful serene atmosphere. The garden is absolutely stunning and incredibly peaceful; we spotted lovely birds and even deers passing through more than once. The pool is immaculate and a delight on warm days. And when night falls the magic continues, with no light pollution, you can really enjoy the most beautiful starry nights. We spent many evenings stargazing and were able to take some amazing photos. Emmanuelle and James are the kindest hosts you could hope for; always available for any questions, thoughtful and welcoming, yet completely respectful of our privacy. They were also incredibly sweet with our (slightly overenthusiastic) dogs. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home and can truly unwind. Time slipped away too quickly in this peaceful retreat and we would love to come back someday!. 😢: Nothing: everything was amazing!.

😊: It would be quicker to ask us what we didn't like as the list wouldn't exist. The gite is beautiful, spacious one bedroom in a beautiful village. The views are outstanding, whether you sit from the private terrace or watch the sunset over the pool. The coffee machine is great as is the ice machine for all of the local tipple 👌. The hosts are excellent. We've been many times to the area but they shared new things that we hadn't discovered. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene and tranquil escape. There isn't anything in the area quite like it. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday, we will be back.
