Le Guet du Garde - in the center of medieval town

😊: Quirky appartment. Very comfortable. Great owner.. 😢: The weather on arrival!.

😊: Nothing really.. 😢: The town was closed. At 5.30 pm we arrived and there was not a cafe, not a bar, not a restaurant or even a shop open. Nothing After driving all day we were looking forward to a nice evening meal, but there was nothing. Frankly we should have been informed of that. We then had to drive 15 minutes to an open supermarket to buy some bread etc for a meagre supper. Once back at the gite, we had a sleepless night on a tiny bed with a lumpy, sagging mattress and thin, hard pillows. There was also the underlying musty smell of dog..

😊: A practical little apartment that has been well thought out. Very good for Self catering - the kitchen is really well equipped.. 😢: From our point of view it was unfortunate there wasn’t electric in the garage - may be worth considering an electrical point for future e-bikers and electric cars.

😊: Lovely gite with access to town, shops restaurants. Safe parking, and garden with table and sun umbrella - lovely. Friendly and helpful owner. Very well equipped with good quality equipment.. 😢: Carrying food down to garden was a bit awkward, but we were warned about that so cooked accordingly. Washing clothes was exciting with the dancing machine , but it was really useful to have it, nevertheless..

😊: Great location, right on the edge of town, within a minutes walk to high street. Sally, owner was on hand along with her dog Mete. There was everything you needed in the apartment and more. Lovely modern kitchen and bathroom. The garden and garage were a welcome bonus.. 😢: Nothing, good place to spend a few days..

Exceptional<br>#128578; Accomodation was very pleasant, bed very comfortable, lovely bathroom with powerful shower which is always welcome, splendid view of the castle from kitchen window. Chatillon is a charming little town. We would love to have stayed longer but we had a ferry to catch.<br>#128577; Nothing

Exceptional<br>#128578; Unique place with wonderful and helpful host Sally. The Appartment is amazing, I have never seen so well equiped kitchen before in booking staff. The space is more than huge, the bathroom very big, everything excelent and stylish, new and clean. There is Garage for your car and nice privat garden with table sitting included, night is super peaceful without any noice. I only can recomend this booking.
