LE HANGAR AVEC PISCINE EN DORDOGNE

😊: This is a well designed, clean home in the middle of the French countryside. It had everything we needed and we were grateful for the air con in the living area given our stay during a heatwave. Beautiful Sarlat was a 25 min drive away and a bakers and mini supermarket a 14 min drive. Lovely Virginie was prompt in bringing around a fan for the bedroom when we stayed during the heatwave. We had a wonderful week.. 😢: Quite a few of the tiles around the pool are loose and really need fixing down and repointing..

😊: We had a such wonderful stay at Le Hangar avec Piscine en Dordogne. Alain the host was most helpful and obliging to all our requests. The villa was so comfortable and spotlessly clean, it was indeed a home away from home with extras like a great size heated swimming pool, hot tub and a sauna. The villa is surrounded by a woodland and many wall nut trees so very green and tranquil. If you have children and pets it will be a perfect place to stay and even without the children and pets like us it was so relaxing and enjoyable. The places of interests are also not too far away from the villa by car and we were all very happy with our tastefully decorated modern and comfortable accommodation. Thank you so much Alain for being a wonderful host, a lot of our friends want the detail of your place after seeing the pictures and hearing of our wonderful time spent there. We will definitely be coming back to your villa when we are back in Dordogne area!! Merci beaucoup Alain!!.

😊: The location was private and secluded. The owners do not live on site and are on the end of a telephone not on the same ground. The property was built eight years ago and benefits fro new modern furniture. The bed is firm and even so a good night sleep is assured. It was very hot during our visit, the air conditioning kept the house cool. The outdoor eating areas were really good The kitchen with modern equipment included a large American style fridge freezer. A dishwasher is included There was a sizeable utility room with washing machine,tumble dry ironing board and iron plus plenty of cleaning liquids. The swimming pool is large and warm - a proper pool. The jacuzzi is kept heated if you like jacuzzi’s you will be more than happy. Our dogs although no fencing never wandered as the garden is large bordered with longer grass. The owners Alain and Virginia were just finishing another home again to similar high standards. Well done to you both and good luck with this new venture. The Wi-Fi is good and easy to log on to. It was a very restful two weeks. We will be back.. 😢: It’s difficult to criticise this property. Some of the edging stones around the pool need some repointing and maybe some plants need a bit of cutting back if feedback is required..
