😊: The property is located centrally with local points of interest within walking distance The property had recently been refurbished so as brand new was clean and fresh. 😢: The property has recently been refurbished but in my opinion to a poor / cheap standard It lacked many basic things i would have expected and was simply sparse, not welcoming Only one part used toilet roll left Cheap dining table with the top insecure so couldn’t eat from it as it tipped Hot water ran out seconds into my shower Only a drip of washing up liquid in the bottle provided One bottle of water left as refreshment for 2 guests arriving Air freshener diffuser in the property that was empty and dried up No instructions how to work heating / appliances so cold & unwelcoming when we arrived at 10 pm after a 13 hour drive It just felt very empty No local information available such as restaurants / supermarkets etc Called the host on route as we had travelled 13 hours with dogs … asked if he could advise of anywhere local to buy food or restaurants that were open but he couldn’t help … just said I’m better seeing what we pass driving … supermarkets had closed at 8 pm and restaurants 9 pm so we were too late for anything.
