Le jardin de Brigitte

😊: Situated in a quiet suburb outside Rochefort, but I had my bike, and it was a short cycle to the town, the local Hypermarche, and the suburb itself had a boulangerie, with other food vans on Sunday morning. I was bikepacking, and needed to shelter from the extreme heat (40C) for a couple of days. It was ideal for this, as although not air conditioned, the apartment was beautifully cool with the shutters and doors closed. The host lived above and was very friendly and welcoming without being overbearing. He’d even put a very welcome beer and water bottle in the fridge chilled for my arrival. Modern washing machine with laundry capsules provided, coffee maker and coffee - really well looked after..

😊: Everything. Ronald the host was incredibly helpful. The property itself is very well thought out. Good quality items in there. Quiet area and private parking. Highly recommended.

😊: Good amount of space Every piece of equipment required Quiet location. 😢: Everything was perfect but the wording/instructions for visitors about how to look after and clean the property was very harsh - sadly this put a slight downer on a very nice place and experience. Maybe they’ve previously had unpleasant visitors?.

😊: I can’t even explain how warm and welcoming this place is — starting from the excellent reception from the hosts to the cosy feeling you get as soon as you arrive. Our stay went extremely well. The place is very well-equipped with everything you might need, and it was spotlessly clean.. 😢: There was nothing we didn't like..
