Le Joli Coeur

We had a phenomenal stay. The apartment was exceptional, clean, comfortable and in a great location. We were very pleased from start to finish.

😊: I really liked the main living area. It felt refreshed, nicely decorated, and done with good taste (so it looks pretty in the pictures). The big windows looking out over the park were a real highlight. I also appreciated the gated free parking space, which is very convenient. Traveling with children, the park and small playground across the street was a great bonus. The kitchen was also well equipped with tableware, which made cooking and eating easy.. 😢: Outside of the main space, things felt less cared for. The patio and terrace looked a bit neglected comparing to the other part of the apartment, but that’s ok. The bedding was rather old, one set even had holes, same about the towels, quite poor quality. Cleaning was okay but not thorough: some pots were dirty, and the dishwasher hadn’t been fully unpacked from the previous guests. What bothered me most, though, was the welcome and general approach towards their guests. There was only a very small amount of basics like soap, cleaning products, and coffee pods. It felt more cheap than thoughtful, like let’s tick it off so we can include it in our advert. With the high fee for early check-in, it gave me the impression that comfort is not the top priority here. Overall, I left with mixed feelings: the apartment itself is very nice, but the small details that make a stay pleasant were missing. We were also asked to discuss any feedback prior to posting our review - which I think makes impact on the discrepancy between the experience and displayed score..

😊: A very large, well appointed and secure apartment. Located in a nice, quiet area, within a short walking distance from the old town. Every appliance you could want is provided.. 😢: A very minor thing. While tea/coffee making facilities were available, there were no complimentary tea bags or coffee pods provided. This would be a nice touch for such a quality apartment..
