Le Lavoir aux Roses by Gîtes Sud Touraine

😊: This is a beautiful, stylish gite in a beautiful village. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are good. The kitchen is well equipped. We were given clear instructions and helpful photographs to help us find and get into the property.Parking was easy. The courtyard garden is delightful. A visit to the salon de the (behind the church) is highly recommended!. 😢: There was nothing that we didn't like! We will certainly hope to make a return visit. The only issue we had was that the boulangerie in the village doesn't open until 11am and then doesn't have baguettes! Clearly this is beyond the control of the gite owners - I just mention it for info purposes. It's a long drive to the nearest regular boulangerie..

😊: Chedigny is a very pretty little rural village, perfectly placed to explore the eastern end of the Loire Valley. Our gite was charming and very well equipped for everything needed for self-catering. Rooms were spacious and the property was spotlessly clean. Communication with our host was good even though we never met her. The gite is very close to a wonderful restaurant if you stay when it is open. The property is quiet and private. We highly recommend the property if you like to stay in a lovely, small rural village.. 😢: It was difficult to find the front gate to the property using the address on Booking.com. The downstairs bedroom smelt damp and there was very limited airflow. A welcome book in English would have been appreciated. Unfortunately for us due to rain during our stay, we were unable to use the outdoor seating area as often as we would have liked..

😊: Easy to access, with all essentials needed for a nights stay.. 😢: There was nothing I didnt like, it was exactly as described 👌🏻.

😊: Everything, this property is incredible, as are the hosts, we will be referring friends, family and work colleagues.. 😢: All was incredible, down to the great BBQ and courtyard, which put the cherry on top!.
