LE LOGIS DU VENDANGEUR Gîte Rural grand confort à CHAMPILLON

Cute little Gite surrounded by vineyards in the heart of Champagne country. Our hosts gave us lots of information about things to do in the region and we recommend at least one tour of how champagne is made. Just be aware that the steps of the Gite are extremely narrow and might be a problem for someone with mobility issues.

Catherine and Christian were the best hosts of any VRBO we have ever stayed. They set up a champagne house tour for us before our arrival and greeted us warmly when we arrived. We felt like we were staying with friends. Thé gîte was small but accommodated two people adequately. Stairs going up the the apartment are narrow and there a couple low beams but we worked around those obstacles and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Epernay.

The apartment is over looking a huge vineyard. Outside are beautiful flowers. The inside is very clean and had plenty of cooking utensils. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked great. We were there in July and needed it. Plenty of hot water for showers. It is centrally located to visit Champagne Houses and to visit the WWI Memorials. There is space to park you car. A super stay.

The wonderful welcome we got from our hosts and the tour of the property made us feel right at home. They organised a Campagne cave tour for us and gave us lots of information about the area. Our accommodation was very well equipped and comfortable. The views of the vineyards and location in the countryside was amazing and very peaceful.
