Le Lumina - style et confort au centre

😊: The apartment is excellent. It is centrally located, a ten minute walk from the train station (15 minutes with suitcases), and well stocked with crockery, cutlery, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. It's light and airy, on the top floor of an apartment block with restaurants directly outside. It is, none the less, quiet and peaceful. It's a very short walk - no more than 5 minutes - to the historic centre of Mulhouse, which is really stunning. Getting in was easy and the host was on hand over WhatsApp in case we had any difficulties. We are a family of four and there was plenty of space for us. I would highly recommend for families.. 😢: It wasn't a problem for us, but the ceilings would be difficult for anyone 6 foot or taller, as being on the top floor the slope from the centre. So I wouldn't recommend this apartment for anyone particularly tall. (I'm 5'10" - 178cm - and it was OK for me). The apartment was also very hot, despite the air conditioner and fan provided. When the weather was cooler than 30 degrees outside it was fine, lovely in fact. However on the day that temperatures peaked at 32 degrees it was very hot in the apartment, throughout the night. This is not somewhere I would want to stay in the middle of a heatwave, though I am sure that is true for many places..

😊: The apartment was big and clean, close to everything but quiet street. Check in was easy.. 😢: You have to be careful with the ceiling as you can see on the pictures..

😊: This is traditional french living, and a must experience for those not from Europe. Top floor apartment so the roof is sloped. Highly recommend experiencing this type of apartment. And a side note there is a lift. The host was so nice. The access to the property did not require a stupid online form that never works. Direct access to the host, and communication was excellent. The host even went out of their way to help find a medical practitioner when every other practitioner had closed.. 😢: Look I am 6'2" so the apartment has some challenges, some say I had some challenges. Would I start there again yes. Would I expect to hit my head a few times, yes. But what an experience to stay in this type of apartment..

😊: Great location and lovely apartment. 😢: nothing.

😊: The appartement was cozy and beautiful decorated! We were just to sleep and left early the next morning. Even though, we enjoy the beautiful place perfectly located..
