😊: Location close to restaurants and shops. 😢: I had emailed prior to arrival to ask that, because my wife had restricted mobility, the shower was walk-in, not climb into a bath. Also confirmed in email was the meeting place for Sophie, the Parking for Eugene Boudin Museum at 3.00 pm. We waited until 3.35 , having tried to contact her by mobile phone and WhatsApp with no reply. We went to the Tourist Office for help and they were able to contact Sophie who came to the Office. She said that she had waited for us at her usual place, in front of the Museum. She came with us in our car and sat in the back seat. Next to her were a metal Rollater walking aid device with seat and a walking stick with fold down seat. Anybody with any intelligence would see that the apartment was going to be a major problem. In fact, on arrival, I counted that there were 48 steps from street to the door. My wife can manage 10, 20 with difficulty,30 is a major issue and 48 is virtually impossible. In addition, Sophie is frail and spoke little English and, at age 83, I had to carry our suitcase, weighing 26 kilos, up the 48 steps. My wife was distressed after a tiring drive from Calais and the non-arrival of Sophie. She needed to rest quickly and I decided not to refuse the apartment for the sake of my wife. She suffers from dementia and Alzheimer's and further distress and delay would be unacceptable. This apartment's entry in Booking.com made no mention that this was a second floor location and I certainly would never book it had I known. Inside the bed and shower wee both small and I was unable to use my adaptor plug to recharge either my laptop or mobile. One plug, beneath the microwave actually pulled away from the wall, exposing live wiring - a danger to life. The TV came with a remote and a booklet explaining how to switch it on.
